Members Statement - Jennmar Inc.

On June 23rd 2008 a sod turning ceremony took place in the town of Sturgeon Falls. A multi-national corporation, Jennmar plans to invest some $15 million in the community over the course of the next several years. Two 60,000 square foot facilities are planned which will be home to approximately 150 new jobs. Jennmar produces products for the mining sector such as bolts and nuts, gears and shafts...Full text

I am very proud of my local communities. The logistics and organization is complex including some 1,000 volunteers, 53 sub committees and an expected 80,000 visitors. This event will be a truly unique northern experience as the organizers will be showcasing life in the north, including mining and forestry exhibits, and demonstrations in addition to the agricultural displays and events....Full text
