The Township of Harley is looking to attract new business activity and new jobs by expanding its industrial park.
With support from the Northern Ontario Heritage Fund Corporation (NOHFC), the municipality will add 21 two-acre lots and a 1,000-metre serviced road within the park. In addition, a northbound left-hand turning lane will be built from Highway 11 onto Development Road, leading directly into the park.
Two area businesses are already looking to relocate to the Harley Industrial Park and benefit from the growth potential of operating out of this location.
This initiative is part of the government’s five-year Open Ontario plan to create jobs and economic opportunities in Northern Ontario.
