Local Businessman Promotes Mental Health Awareness at Queen’s Park

Peter Bernie, CEO - Wabi Iron & Steel Inc of New Liskeard brought a special gift to Queen’s Park for the Hon. David Caplan, Minister of Health and Long Term Care this week.

Mr. Bernie is very active in the community helping to support and educate people about all aspects of mental health. For the past several years he has published a brochure titled, “We All Belong” during mental health month and distributes it in local communities. This year he was pleased to produce it in partnership with The Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH) and The Canadian Mental Health Association. On Tuesday Mr. Bernie was pleased to present a copy to his local MPP, David Ramsay and David Caplan, The Hon. Minister of Health and Long Term Care.
